50 years of history

| 1962

FRAY first began making shirts in Via Borgonuovo, in the beautiful historic centre of Bologna, just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Piazza Santo Stefano and the two towers that symbolise the city.

| 1971

The brand began to make a name for itself, and FRAY shirts began selling abroad.
The workshop moved just outside the city centre to facilitate its logistics operations, which were gradually becoming more important.

| 1983

The growth of FRAY’s international commercial operations and the acquisition of another brand led the company to make the definitive move to the new, more modern factory at Casalecchio di Reno.
